Qualified and certified pre-school and kids club services in Hull

Welcome to Butterflies Pre-school and Priory Kid’s Club! 

We have been providing quality nursery and day care services for children in the Hull area since 2002. We aim to build a loving, caring, trustworthy and respectful environment, where every child is free to take risks, develop and learn through play; in safety and harmony, with the support of experienced and understanding adults.

Our highly qualified staff are trained in child protection and Child development, have enhanced DBS checks, plus all staff are paediatric first aiders and a SENCO (Special Educational Needs Co-ordinator) is on site at all times.

As a group registered with Ofsted (Office for Standards in Education, Children’s Services and Skills) and the local authority, we are required to follow procedures approved by the Local Safeguarding Children Board. To encourage varied learning, we follow the Practice Guidance for the Early Years Foundation Stage. Please see below for more information.

We work to the Seven Areas of Learning, as set out in the Early Years Foundation Stage.  This is to ensure children are competent learners and develop in a wide variety of ways. The areas are as follows:
